Who we are

GoQuotes is a trading style of NovaScale AI Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16139762). We are the data controller for personal data collected through goquotes.co.uk. You can reach us at privacy@goquotes.co.uk.

What we collect

• Quote details — the service you need, job type, urgency, property details, postcode and address.
• Contact details — your first name, last name, email address and phone number.
• Technical data — IP address, device, browser, referrer, UTM parameters and pages viewed, collected via cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).

How we use your data

• To match you with relevant independent UK professionals ("Providers") and share your enquiry with them so they can quote.
• To contact you about your enquiry by email, phone or SMS.
• To operate, secure and improve our service, including funnel analytics.
• To measure marketing performance and, where you allow it, to show you relevant ads.
• To comply with legal obligations and to prevent fraud or abuse.

Sharing your data with third-party professionals — explicit consent

GoQuotes is an introduction platform. When you submit a quote request and tick the consent box on the final step of the form, you explicitly consent to GoQuotes sharing the details of your enquiry — including your name, phone number, email address, postcode and job details — with up to four independent UK Providers matched to your request, so they can contact you with quotes by phone, SMS or email.

Providers are independent data controllers for the personal data we pass to them and are contractually required to use it only to respond to your enquiry, to comply with UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), and to honour any opt-out you give them. GoQuotes does not control what a Provider does after your data has been shared. To stop a Provider contacting you, ask them directly to remove your details.

You can withdraw your consent for future sharing at any time by emailing privacy@goquotes.co.uk. Withdrawal does not affect sharing that has already taken place.

Other recipients

• Hosting and infrastructure — Cloudflare and Supabase (EU/UK regions where available).
• Email delivery — Resend, for transactional and lead notification emails.
• Analytics and advertising — Google Analytics 4 and Meta (Facebook) Pixel, subject to your cookie preferences.
• Regulators, law enforcement or professional advisors — where required by law.

Legal bases (UK GDPR)

• Consent — for sharing your enquiry with Providers, and for non-essential cookies and marketing.
• Contract / steps prior to a contract — for processing your enquiry.
• Legitimate interests — for security, fraud prevention, service improvement and basic analytics.
• Legal obligation — for tax, accounting and regulatory record-keeping.

How long we keep your data

Quote enquiries and contact details are retained for up to 24 months from your last interaction, after which they are deleted or anonymised. Aggregated funnel analytics may be retained indefinitely in a form that does not identify you.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Contact privacy@goquotes.co.uk to exercise any of these rights.

You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

International transfers

Some of our processors (e.g. Google, Meta, Resend) may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, transfers are covered by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or Standard Contractual Clauses.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
