Our role
GoQuotes (a trading style of NovaScale AI Ltd, Company No. 16139762, registered in England and Wales) operates a lead generation and introduction platform. We are not a law firm, healthcare provider, financial advisor, tradesperson, or service provider of any kind. We do not deliver, supervise, manage, or control the services offered by any professional in our network ("Providers"). Our role is limited to connecting you with relevant Providers based on the information you submit.
Independent professionals
All Providers in the GoQuotes network are independent businesses. They are not employees, agents, or partners of GoQuotes. Any contract for services is formed directly between you and the Provider, not with GoQuotes.
No verification of Provider credentials
GoQuotes does not independently verify the qualifications, accreditations, insurance, regulatory status, or any other credentials of Providers. Providers self-declare this information when joining our network and are contractually required to maintain accurate and up-to-date credentials at all times.
We strongly recommend that you confirm a Provider's credentials directly with the relevant regulator before committing to any work or sharing payment information. Useful regulator registers include:
- Solicitors: Solicitors Regulation Authority — sra.org.uk
- Financial advisors and mortgage brokers: Financial Conduct Authority — register.fca.org.uk
- Doctors: General Medical Council — gmc-uk.org
- Dentists: General Dental Council — gdc-uk.org
- Care providers: Care Quality Commission — cqc.org.uk
- Gas engineers: Gas Safe Register — gassaferegister.co.uk
- Electricians: NICEIC — niceic.com
- Roofers: NFRC — nfrc.co.uk
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoQuotes is not liable for:
- the quality, accuracy, timeliness, safety, legality, or outcome of any service delivered by a Provider;
- any loss, damage, injury, or harm caused by a Provider;
- any dispute, complaint, or claim between you and a Provider;
- any reliance you place on information provided by a Provider;
- any failure by a Provider to hold valid qualifications, insurance, or regulatory authorisation.
Any complaint about a service should be raised directly with the Provider. Where appropriate, you may also escalate to the relevant regulator or seek independent legal advice.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our own negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
